Meredith-Springfield was chartered as a Massachusetts corporation in 1983 by Mel O'Leary. With a background in international finance, Mel was employed as a plant manager in the plastic blow molding manufacturing and engineering industry for several years before founding his own venture. Over time, he has shown a talent for identifying market niches in the plastics industry, and has won multiple awards for his patents of common household items and his complex technical articles. |

Meredith-Springfield is frequently turned to by companies of all sizes who need test-market quantities of custom blow molded prototype samples for research and development (R&D). Years of experience and attention to global environmental changes have enabled us to be on the cutting edge of creating highly technical articles out of engineering materials and commodity resins.
Our molding processes include Extrusion Blow Molding, both monolayer and multi-layer in a wide range of thermoplastics as well as one-step Injection Stretch Blow Molding of PET, PP and PC. At this time we are highlighting PET, which is overtaking other resins to become the preferred material for containers because of its recyclability and "green" aspects.
Of special note, while many companies work with stock molds, Meredith-Springfield works only with privately-owned custom molds. This enables us to create products unique to each client's company and brand.
