Productions Capabilities

The company’s capabilities include creating highly technical articles out of engineering materials as well as commodity resins and create process solutions to enable optimal manufacturing of the most difficult articles— from just a few, to millions, of custom molded products.

Meredith-Springfield offers superior bottle and container production using a wide variety of resins including HDPE, PP, PET, PVC, PN, PC, AN, EPET, TPE, TPU, ABS, LDPE and fluoropolymers. The company also offers two and three layer co-extrusion capabilities.

  • EBM – We do Continuous Extrusion Blow Molding on twin
sided shuttle blow molders for all kinds of bottles, containers
and all shapes of hollow articles ranging from very technical
    to “whimsical”.

  • ISBM – We do ONE STEP Injection Stretch Blow Molding. Injection blow molding is generally suitable for non-handled bottles made with PET, PP or PC. This process is often used for containers that have close tolerance threaded necks, wide mouth openings; solid handles and highly stylized shapes. Stretch blow molding is best known for producing PET bottles commonly used for water, juice and a variety of other products. However, Meredith-Springfield uses ISBM for much, much more than that!

  • Multi-layer or Co-Extrusion Blow Molding: We do the extrusion
of multiple layers of resin material simultaneously to form a container that offers improved barrier properties or using Post Consumer Reclaimed (PCR) material as a buried layer,
    largely HDPE and PP.
