EBM – We do Continuous Extrusion Blow Molding on twin
sided shuttle blow molders for all kinds of bottles, containers
and all shapes of hollow articles ranging from very technical
to “whimsical”.
-
ISBM – We do ONE STEP Injection Stretch Blow Molding. Injection blow molding is generally suitable for non-handled bottles made with PET, PP or PC. This process is often used for containers that have close tolerance threaded necks, wide mouth openings; solid handles and highly stylized shapes. Stretch blow molding is best known for producing PET bottles commonly used for water, juice and a variety of other products. However, Meredith-Springfield uses ISBM for much, much more than that!
-
Multi-layer or Co-Extrusion Blow Molding: We do the extrusion
of multiple layers of resin material simultaneously to form a container that offers improved barrier properties or using Post Consumer Reclaimed (PCR) material as a buried layer,
largely HDPE and PP.
